Ali Hasanov’s book “The genocide policy of Armenians against Azerbaijanis” published in Tajik and Russian in Dushanbe

The book on “The genocide policy of Armenians against Azerbaijanis” by Ali Hasanov, Assistant to the President of the Azerbaijan on socio-political issues, was published in Tajik and Russian in Bukhara publishing house in Dushanbe.

Gulnazar Keldi translates the book published on the initiative of the Azerbaijani embassy in Tajikistan. The book, published already in the eleventh language, analyzes the policy of ethnic cleansing, genocide and aggression committed purposely by the Armenian nationalists against Azerbaijanis in the last two centuries. The genocide of the Armenians in the Azerbaijanis lands, the placement and genocide committed against our people are systematically reflected in the book. At the same time, as a result of the aggression policy of the Armenian nationalists, the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Azerbaijanis in four centuries- 1905-1906, 1918- 1920, 1948- 1953 and 1988- 1993 were analyzed according to sources. It is shown that Armenian nationalists’ claim to create “big Armenia” after the end of XIX century- in 1885 in “Armenakan” in Marseilles, in 1887 in “Hinchaq” in Geneva and in 1890 in “Dashnaksutun” in Tbilisi, came to the new stage with the help of foreign patrons to achieve their goals, they carried out a policy of ethnic cleansing by carrying out terrible terror and genocide against the Turkic- Muslim population at different times.

In the monograph, the genocide committed by Armenians in 1918- 1920, along with Baku, Guba, Shamakhi, continued in Shusha, Iravan province, Zangezur, Nakhchivan, Sharur, Ordubad, Kars and other regions, is being investigated based on scientific sources of tens of thousands of Azerbaijanis.

The book also includes maps on different periods of Azerbaijani history in foreign languages, photos about the occupied territories of Azerbaijan by the Armenian armed forces. At the same time, the groundless territorial claims and aggression policy of Armenia against Azerbaijan, including the ethnic cleansing and genocide policy against Azerbaijanis in 1988- 1993 were investigated on the basis of scientific sources since the second half of the 80’s of the 20th century. The atrocities against the peaceful Azerbaijani population during the occupation of Khojaly by the Armenian armed forces on 26 February 1992 are widely analyzed by external sources. This genocide act is characterized as one of the most serious crimes against all humanity. The reasons for the strategic importance of Khojaly in the Nagorno- Karabakh region of Azerbaijan are also studied.

Khojaly genocide and the works done for political and legal assessment of this tragedy, as well as recognition of Khojaly tragedy as an act of genocide in the international arena are widely investigated in this work. The author noted that the in the world history of the terrible genocides such as Khatin, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Sonqmi, Ruanda, Srebrenicha and Holocaust, Khojaly genocide has never been forgotten.

The book is not only a matter of studying and storing bloody pages of our history, but also of the fact that Armenia’s state terrorism policy is widely disseminated and exposed to the world community.
